Mrs. Slaterasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he is aware that present legislation concerning 59W drinking by motorists is inadequate, in view of recent cases where acquittals have resulted in spite of the accused's admission of considerable consumption of alcohol; and if he will introduce amending legislation.
