§ 1. Mr. Owenasked the Minister of Labour what further consideration has been given to the suggestion by the hon. Member for Morpeth concerning the use of the facilities of the Ashington Technical College as a training centre for school leavers at present unable to secure employment.
§ Mr. WhitelawThe proposal made by the hon. Member has been carefully considered, but I am informed that the facilities at the Ashington Technical College are already fully used and it would not be practicable to establish a training centre there.
