§ Mr. NobleSubject to the provisions of the Schools (Scotland) Code, the appointment of principal teachers is a matter for each education authority. I understand that Lanarkshire education authority has principal teachers of subjects such as art, music, homecraft, physical education and technical and commercial subjects.
