§ 46. Mr. A. Lewisasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government and Minister for Welsh Affairs whether he is aware of the continuing difficulty of newly-married couples of limited financial means in obtaining housing accommodation from local councils or mortgages from building societies for house purchase; and whether he will now introduce the necessary legislation to assist these types of housing applicants.
