§ Mr. Tileyasked the Secretary to the Treasury whether, in order to assist hon. Members who deal with their Parliamentary correspondence away from the Palace of Westminster, he will increase the allowance of stationery which they may obtain without charge.
§ Mr. BarberYes. The free allowance of stationery for the use of Members conducting their Parliamentary correspondence away from the House of Commons. which has remained unchanged since 1955, will be increased to £20 a year. This increase will apply from 1st October, 1962.
