§ Mr. MarplesIn pursuing their aim of providing an efficient and well-balanced transport system for Great Britain as a whole, the Government have already published, or have been associated with, a number of important studies and reports which affect road transport. I am sending the hon. Member a list. As I announced on 29th April, I am setting up an independent committee of inquiry to re-examine the fundamental basis and working of the licensing system for road goods transport.
