asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether he will now announce the name of the chairman of the Kenya Central Land Board.

Mr. Sandys

The Governor of Kenya has decided, with my approval, to appoint Sir Richard Turnbull to be Chairman of the Central Land Board which will be set up in Kenya when the new Constitution comes into force next month. As announced in Nairobi on the 2nd March, the Board will have the duty of selecting farms for resettlement and arranging for their valuation and purchase.
