§ Mr. PowellFigures are at present available only for the period 1st November, 1960, to 31st December, 1961, and separate figures are not kept for Section25 and Section 29; during that period, there were 29,825 admissions under Section 25 or 29, and 2,692 under Section26 or the comparable procedure (under Section 41) for transfer from guardianship.
