§ Mr. D. PriceFigures for 1962 are not yet available. In 1961 deaths attributable to burning clothing in England and Wales were 44 males and 190 females. Comparable figures are not available for Scotland and Northern Ireland. The Government welcome the publicity given to this subject by the Press, local bodies and manufacturers.
