§ 70. Mr. F. Noel-Bakerasked the Secretary of State for War, if he will arrange for a further inspection of the rifle range at the Quarry, Old Town, Swindon, and include in it inquiries as to the anxieties of residents in the vicinity.
§ Mr. ProfumoThis range is not owned by my Department, but is sponsored by the local branch of the National and Local Government Officers Association.
When work on the range is complete, Headquarters Southern Command will arrange for a board of officers to certify whether it complies with standard safety regulations.
