Mr. Chapmanasked the Minister of Health whether he has considered the statement by the Birmingham Medical Office of Health, a copy of which has been sent to him, expressing concern about the inadequacy of present and future maternity hospital facilities in the city; what plans he has for improving these facilities; and whether he will allocate part of the extra £100 million, recently announced, for further improvements in Birmingham.
