Mr. Chapmanasked the Minister of Labour whether he will publish in the OFFICIAL REPORT a table showing, for the first nine months' operation of the Commonwealth Immigrants Act, the number of permits applied for and issued by categories under the Act and by territory of origin, the comparative figures of entrants in the previous three years, comparable figures for exit of immigrants returning home, and the number of applications outstanding at the end of the nine months.
