§ Mr. Millanasked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether he will introduce legislation to give local authorities in Scotland powers in the treatment of derelict land similar to 148W those provided for English and Welsh local authorities by Section 89 of the National Parks and Access to the Countryside Act 1949.
§ Mr. NobleI now have under review the possibility of extending the powers of Scottish local authorities in relation to this matter.
