§ Mr. PeytonDuring the recent exceptional weather there were delays in fuel deliveries in Ilford, as elsewhere, but supplies of Gloco were maintained at a high level. I understand from the North Thames Gas Board that deliveries are now normal.
§ Mr. Delargyasked the Minister of Power whether he is satisfied that sufficient stocks of smokeless fuel will be available in the Kenningtons district of Thurrock when that district becomes a smokeless zone; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. PeytonPotential suppliers of smokeless fuels to this district have been made aware of the new demand expected there. It will be for them and the local merchants and consumers to ensure that sufficient stocks are available.
