HC Deb 25 March 1963 vol 674 c121W
Earl of Dalkeith

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what would be the loss to the revenue of reducing from 65 to 60 years the age at which retired families are eligible for Income Tax relief.

Mr. Barber

I regret that the information necessary to estimate the cost of reducing the age qualification for age exemption and age relief from 65 to 60 years is not available.
