§ Sir E. BoyleThe 1955 project was mainly intended for pupils from the Best-wood Park Estate, for whom provision has since been made on the estate itself. Later proposals for new buildings at the Burford School have been mainly intended for the improvement of conditions, and more urgent projects have had to be preferred. No proposal at Burford was made for the 1964–65 programme.
