§ 57. Sir H. Legge-Bourkeasked the Parliamentary Secretary for Science if he will make a statement on the report which he has received from the Chairman of the United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority regarding nuclear-powered ships.
§ Mr. Denzil FreethThe responsibility for advising the Government on these matters rests with the Working Group on Marine Reactor Research which reports jointly to the Minister for Science and the Minister of Transport. There has therefore been no occasion for a formal report to my noble Friend from the Chairman of the United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority on this subject.
