Mr. Elwyn Jonesasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government and Minister for Welsh Affairs whether, in view of the continuing danger that a high tide will over-top the flood defences in the Thames and cause damage and distress, he will put into effect at an early date the proposals to construct a Thames flood barrier.
