§ Mr. A. Robertsasked the Lord Privy Seal if he will seek to have placed on the agenda of the next meeting of the European Free Trade Association the possibility of inviting Spain to join it.
§ Mr. HeathThe Spanish Government has not applied for membership of the European Free Trade Association. In the absence of such an approach, it would not be appropriate for this matter to be raised in the European Free Trade Association Council.
