§ 54. Mr. Sydney Irvingasked the Minister of Transport when he hopes to make a statement on the need to improve rural transport; and whether, as the result of the surveys he has recently conducted, he now proposes to implement the main recommendations of the Jack Committee Report.
§ Mr. MarplesI cannot make any statement on rural transport until I have studied the results of the special studies 147W being made on my behalf. The analysis of the fieldwork of these is not yet complete.
