§ Mr. GreenThe communiqué issued after the meeting of the Commonwealth Economic Consultative Council last month indicated the direction sin which the Governments of the Commonwealth were looking for action to develop trade in the Commonwealth and in the world as a whole. At the subsequent meeting124W of the G.A.T.T., my right hon. Friend supported proposals for expanding the trade of less-developed countries and reducing barriers to trade in agricultural and industrial products. We shall play our full part over the coming months in the negotiations to put these proposals into effect.
