HC Deb 26 July 1963 vol 681 c233W
Commander Pursey

asked the Minister of Health how many patients are waiting for appointments with orthopaedic surgeons at Hull Royal Infirmary; what is the recent maximum number of days' delay in appointments; what steps are being taken to reduce the delay; by what date the backlog of patients is likely to be worked off; and what is considered to be a normal delay.

Mr. Braine

285; 49; an additional consultant was appointed recently; I cannot yet say; the acceptable delay depends on the patient's condition.
