HC Deb 25 July 1963 vol 681 c213W
41. Mr. Wingfield Digby

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer, in view of the fact that in Dorset the domestic share of the rate burden has increased by about 15 per cent., which will be reduced to 13 per cent, when Crown properties have been re-valued, what steps he is taking to hasten this revaluation and to provide for higher interim payments by the Crown properties.

Mr. Boyd-Carpenter

No additional steps are necessary as the Revaluation of Crown Properties is proceeding as planned and will be completed in time for contributions in lieu of rates to be made in full on the new values before 31st March, 1964.
