§ Mr. Buckasked the Minister of Health (1) whether he will withdraw Ministry of Health Circular 94610/15/71 of 5th July in view of its detrimental effect on administrative and clerical staffs;
(2) how many officers he anticipates will be affected by his Circular 94610/15/71 of 15th July in the periods 1st April, 1963 to 30th March, 1964, and 1st April, 1964, to 31st March, 1965, by region; and what is the total saving.
§ Mr. BraineThis letter has a beneficial, not a detrimental, effect and my right hon. Friend sees no reason to withdraw it. I cannot say how many officers will be affected: there will be no saving.
