§ 82. Mr. Gourlayasked the Minister of Labour how much was paid in unemployment benefit by his Kirkcaldy office for the period of 13 weeks to the latest available date; and what was the corresponding figure for the same period in 1962.
§ Mr. Hare£46,605 for the 13 weeks ended 13th July, 1963, and £27,357 for the comparable period in 1962. In part this higher figure is due to higher benefit rates being paid from 7th March last.
