§ Mr. SandysThe questions regarding the postponement of the Conference, its timing and the proposals made by West Indian Ministers in Barbados, were answered in the reply given on 2nd July to the hon. Member for Dundee, East (Mr. G. Thomson) and in replies given on 15th July to the hon. Member for Birmingham, Northfield (Mr. Donald Chapman). As regards Grenada, the only proposal which I have received, to which I agreed, is that there should be, without commitment, direct discussions between the Governments of Grenada and Trinidad and Tobago about a possible union of Grenada with Trinidad and Tobago.
