asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government and Minister for Welsh Affairs how many applications from local authorities for 69W loan sanction for work on horticultural markets have been accepted; and what has been the total cost of such sanctions for each of the last five years.

Four applications were received, and all were granted. The cost for each of the last five years was as follows:
