asked the Prime Minister if he will instruct Her Majesty's Stationery office and the departments concerned with the production of various specialist reports that these are always to be made available in the Vote Office for the use of hon. Members as soon as they are published.

No. I do not think the present practice should be changed whereby Ministers decide which of their non-Parliamentary publications are of sufficient interest to the House to warrant their being placed in the Vote Office.
