Treasury and Nos. 10 and 12 Downing Street

Mr. Parker

asked the Minister of Public Building and Works when he now expects the restoration of the Treasury and Nos. 10 to 12 Downing Street to be completed.

Mr. Rippon

Assuming there are no further difficulties on the site, I expect the main building work at Nos. 10, 11 and 12 Downing Street to be completed next month, and at the Treasury about the end of September or shortly afterwards. To furnish and equip the buildings will take a further six to eight weeks in each case.
