§ 49. Mr. Sorensenasked the Lord Privy Seal, in view of the uncertain demarcation of the frontier between the South Arabian Federation and the Yemen, what action he has taken to ensure at least temporary demarcation pending future negotiations.
§ Mr. HeathThe western part of the frontier is demarcated. As regards the remainder, an Exchange of Notes in 1951 provided for a joint commission to demarcate the frontier, but the Yemeni authorities have always declined to co-operate in its establishment. Our own readiness to do so is well-known.
