§ Captain Kerbyasked the Minister of Labour if he is aware that 67 members of the British Forces local employees union appeared before the Aden magistrate recently on charges of taking part in an illegal strike; and if he will call for a report on these proceedings from the Governor of Aden with a view to gathering information for new trade union legislation in this country.
§ Mr. HareI have made inquiries about the legislation under which the proceedings to which my hon. Friend refers were taken. I am satisfied that it is not appropriate to conditions in this country.
