§ Mr. Turnerasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies what assistance Her Majesty's Government are giving to Sarawak for relief measures in view of the devastation caused by the recent flooding in the eastern districts.
§ Mr. FisherAs a token of sympathy Her Majesty's Government are contributing $M.100,000 (approximately £12,000) to the Colony's flood relief appeal fund. An advance will be made from the Civil Contingencies Fund pending the submission of the necessary Supplementary Estimate.
