§ 106. Mr. H. A. Priceasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will set up an interdepartmental committee of inquiry to investigate the difficulties arising out of the recent severe weather and, having regard to the experience of other countries, to suggest how the difficulties can be minimised in the future.
§ 107. Mr. C. Hughesasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will set up a committee to investigate the effects of the harsh weather of the last seven weeks upon the life of the nation, and to recommend what steps should be taken to minimise loss and damage if similar weather occurs in future years.
