§ Mr. Denzil FreethResearch into ways of improving established methods of detecting pneumoconiosis, such as tests of lung function and chest X-rays, is being undertaken by the Medical Research Council's Pneumoconiosis Research Unit as part of an extensive programme of research on diseases of the lungs due to airborne dusts.
