§ Mr. SoamesGrants to river boards in the last financial year (1961–62) amounted to £3,409,302. The latest estimate for the current financial year (1962–63) is £4 million.
Grants to the Gwynedd River Board were £55,000 last year. There is no approved figure for each year but so far this year grants to the Board amount to almost £60,000.
