Captain Kerby

asked the Secretary for Technical Co-operation how many paid appointments to posts outside the Civil Service he has in his patronage; what is the nature of each appointment; and what salary is payable in each case.

Mr. Vosper

Appointments to the following five posts outside the Civil Service fall to be made by me, after consultation with my colleagues as necessary:

  1. (a) The Senior and the Second Crown Agents for Oversea Governments and Administrations. Salaries: £5,015 and £4,215 per annum.
  2. (b) The member of the Commonwealth Telecommunications Board to represent British Commonwealth and Empire territories not directly represented by other members. Salary: £1,750;per annum.
  3. (c) The Official Representative and the Deputy Official Representative at the Over- 218 seas Territories Income Tax Office. Salaries: £3,400;and;£3,100 per annum, respectively.

None of these salaries is paid from moneys voted by the House.
