§ 42. Mr. Hannanasked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether all the rural development surveys for the integration of forestry and agriculture have now been completed; what proposals he has for this purpose; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. Brooman-WhiteAll the surveys have now been completed and the Forestry Commission guided by these continue to acquire land for planting within the areas concerned. Forestry policy as a whole is at present being reviewed by the Working Party of officials whose appointment was announced by my right hon. Friend the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, on 1st August, 1962.
