§ Mr. P. ThomasThe United Kingdom delegate voted against the resolution, together with Australia, Italy and the United States of America. Cambodia, Ethiopia, India, Madagascar, Mali, Poland, Syria, Tanganyika, Tunisia, the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, Venezuela and Yugoslavia voted in favour. (The seventeenth member of the Committee, the delegate of Uruguay, did not accompany the Committee on its tour of Africa.)
