39. Mr. Burnettasked the Minister of Transport if he will publish the information he has received, under Section 56(8) of the Transport Act, 1962, regarding objections lodged with transport users' consultative committees to proposed railway closures in the county of Dorset.
§ Mr. MarplesThe Area Transport Users Consultative Committees have notified me that objections have been lodged to three closure proposals affecting passenger services in Dorset, namely the Bath Green Park—Bournemouth West, Salisbury—Fordingbridge—Bournemouth, and Brockenhurst—Ringwood—Bournemouth proposals.
