§ Mr. Corfield44 appeal inquiries under the Town and Country Planning Acts have been held in the rural district of Godstone since January 1961. In 5 cases the decision given overruled the local planning authority on the planning merits of the case. In 4 further cases a temporary use was permitted in order to avoid hardship and in 2 cases enforcement notices were quashed on legal grounds.
