§ Mr. Boyd-CarpenterThe National Economic Development Council discussed at its meeting on 4th December the implications of recent pay settlements for the achievement of our growth target, and the general problem of bringing the rate of growth of incomes and of national productivity into line. The Council will resume its discussion early in January.
