I am writing today to the local authorities concerned to inform them that I have decided to accept without modification the proposals for the extension of Northampton county borough and for the transfer of parts of Tamworth rural district to Staffordshire. I also intend to accept, subject to modification, the proposals for the extension of Coventry and Stoke-on-Trent county boroughs. Copies of my decision letters have been placed in the library.
