Mr. Bullardasked the Secretary of State for Industry, Trade and Regional Development what information he has received from the owners about the impending closure, following upon a merger, of the frozen food factory in King's Lynn hitherto run by Messrs. Fropax Ltd.; and what proposals he has to ensure that trade and employment in King's Lynn and the surrounding district are not adversely affected.
§ Mr. HeathI am aware that an announcement has been made of the proposed closure early next year of Fropax Ltd.'s frozen food factory in King's Lynn. This is not a matter in which I can intervene.
