Users' Consultative Committee of 24th April, 1963, and subsequent representations from the hon. Member for Croydon, South, he will now confirm that the Woodside-Sanderstead line will not be closed to passenger traffic.

As I said in my reply to my hon. Friend's Question on 31st July, this closure raises difficult issues. But I hope to be able to reach a decision shortly.
