HC Deb 04 December 1963 vol 685 c192W
Sir Knox Cunningham

asked the Minister of Aviation if he will install a moving staircase to the one in use at London Airport, in order to take passengers to the passenger exits on the upper floor of the civil airport at Aldergrove in County Antrim, and to assist those who find difficulty in mounting the various flights of stairs at present in use.

Mr. Marten

It would not be economically justifiable to install a moving staircase. The arrangements made to assist those who find difficulty in mounting stairs were explained in my reply to my hon. Friend on 18th November.
