§ 61. Mr. Wallasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will now consider extending the fisheries limit to at least six miles.
§ Mr. SoamesAs my right hon. Friend the then Lord Privy Seal told the House on 29th April last, we have given notice to withdraw from the relevant treaty obligations in order to free ourselves to extend our limits. Their future breadth will be decided in the light of the European Fisheries Conference which will start tomorrow.
