§ Mr. Masonasked the Attorney-General if he is aware that no action has been taken against those responsible for instituting bribery in professional football; if he will instruct the Director of Public Prosecutions to commence proceedings against them; and if he will make a statement.
§ The Attorney-GeneralProceedings have already been taken against those persons in respect of whom there was evidence to justify prosecution. If the hon. Member has evidence that would justify the prosecution of other persons I will gladly consider it.
