BoyleI take all possible opportunities of impressing upon employers the importance of granting young people day and other forms of release from employment to enable them to pursue courses of further education, and, as the hon. Member knows, the Committee which I set up last year under the chairmanship of Mr. C. Henniker-Heaton is considering what steps can be taken to bring about the maximum practicable increase in day 187W release. I also look forward to a substantial increase in day release as a result of the Government's industrial training proposals.
