§ Mr. Bottomleyasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies if he will make a statement about the effect of the law on sedition proposed by the Government of the Federation of South Arabia, in relation to problems concerned in law and order in Aden.
§ Mr. SandysAs internal security is a Federal responsibility, the Sedition Law, 1963, has effect in Aden as in the rest of the Federation, subject to the High Commissioner's overriding legislative powers in regard to public order in Aden.
