§ Mr. Hornbyasked the Secretary of State for Commonwealth Relations what financial help Her Majesty's Government are giving to encourage the establishment of an International School in Dar-es-Salaam.
§ Mr. SandysI am impressed by the efforts which have been made to raise the capital required to launch this scheme. Subject to the approval of Parliament, Her Majesty's Government propose to assist the project by making a once for all grant of £6,000 as a contribution to the initial capital expenses. Parliament will be asked in due course to vote the necessary Supplementary Estimate. In the meantime, an advance is being sought from the Civil Contingencies Fund.
